Evening Walk

Muscle twists on spine and
Across eucalyptus whips
Creaking breaking soon

Point of light slips through
Touches mass of coiled bruises
I can rest at last

If he rubs the bone
Away from its brother bone
The gas releases

Kneecap slides and pops
The moan of the couch under
Muscles work tonight

Bones hugging cotton
Too tight now the bubbles pop
Like a school cakewalk
